Terms and Conditions: Private 4-Hour London Panoramic Walking Tour with Boat Trip
1. Tour Description
1.1. The Private 4-Hour London Panoramic Walking Tour with a Boat Trip (“Tour”) is a guided exploration of significant landmarks and attractions in London, including a scenic boat trip to the Tower of London.
1.2. The Tour is conducted by professional tour experts who will provide historical narratives, useful information, and insights into the city’s key attractions.
1.3. The Tour itinerary may vary due to external factors such as weather conditions, road closures, or major events in London. However, every effort will be made to adhere to the scheduled itinerary.
2. Booking
2.1. Booking for the Tour can be made online through our website or by completing the booking form provided.
2.2. Payment for the Tour must be made in full at the time of booking. All payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.
2.3. After successful payment, a booking confirmation will be issued via email within 48 hours.
3. Tour Pricing
3.1. The Tour price consists of two components: the tour guide fee and the boat ticket fee.
3.2. The tour guide fee is £350.00 for a 4-hour tour.
3.3. Boat ticket prices are as follows:
- Adult: £8.60
- Child (5-15 years old): £4.30
- Concession: £4.30 (applicable to individuals with disabilities, Freedom Pass holders, 60+ Oyster cardholders, and UK regional senior bus pass holders)
3.4. Children aged 4 and under travel for free but require a complimentary ticket, which must be booked in advance.
4. Tour Schedule
4.1. The Tour operates daily, with morning tours starting at either 09:00 or 09:30 and afternoon tours starting at 14:00 or 14:30.
4.2. The meeting point for the Tour is the Sir Winston Churchill Statue at Parliament Square. In the event of Parliament Square closure, an alternate meeting point at The Supreme Court will be communicated to participants.
5. Participant Responsibilities
5.1. Participants are responsible for their safety and the safety of their group members throughout the Tour.
5.2. Participants must adhere to traffic rules, exercise caution when crossing roads, and avoid walking on bicycle lanes.
5.3. Participants should wear comfortable footwear and prepare for approximately 10,000 steps over the course of the 4-hour Tour.
6. Weather Conditions
6.1. The Tour will proceed as scheduled in the case of rain or snowfall. Participants are advised to bring umbrellas and appropriate attire for inclement weather.
6.2. Some attractions may be omitted from the itinerary during adverse weather conditions.
7. Refunds and Cancellations
7.1. Refunds are only possible in the event of Tour cancellation initiated by the tour operator.
7.2. No refunds will be issued for participant-initiated cancellations or no-shows.
7.3. All tours booked are non-cancelable, non-changeable, and non-transferable under any circumstances.
8. Emergency Procedures
8.1. Participants should familiarize themselves with emergency procedures and contact information, including the emergency number 112.
8.2. Participants are advised to exercise caution with personal belongings due to the presence of pickpockets in public areas.
9. Terms of Engagement
Thank you for your interest in becoming a client of Demapal Ltd. It is the policy of our business that a ‘Letter of Engagement’ (Contract) is provided to all our new clients. This letter sets out our terms of engagement. If the terms of our engagement are acceptable, please sign the enclosed copy of this engagement letter and send it to our email address. Please contact our office by email or phone if you want any clarification or wish to discuss any aspect of the terms of this engagement.
10. Responsibilities of Demapal Ltd
Demapal Ltd (“Demapal”) agrees to provide the following services to the client:
- Provide information in accordance with the request of the customer.
- Search for companies and individuals to perform the services requested by the customer.
- Assist in negotiating between the customer and the service provider.
- Provide consultancy services.
- Receive and transfer funds from the customer to service providers.
Demapal mainly provides search services in areas including but not limited to:
- Private tours or excursions.
- Travel Services.
- Concierge and Ticketing Services.
Subject to any agreement to the contrary, the work is limited to the above services noted.
11. Fees and Expenses
11.1. The total fee for services provided by Demapal Ltd is will be calculated based on prices below.
11.2. The breakdown of fees is as follows:
- Tour guide £350.00
- Boat tickets £8.60 or £3.40 depends on tickets’ category
11.3. Demapal Ltd reserves the right to increase rates if the matter becomes complex or additional services are required by the client.
11.4. The client shall reimburse all reasonable expenses incurred by Demapal Ltd in providing the services within 1 day of receipt of invoice and all relevant receipts.
12. Disbursements
12.1. The client will be required to pay for certain other expenses, including payments made on their behalf such as Booking fees, ticket fees, etc. These are called disbursements. Demapal Ltd will advise the client of any disbursements to be incurred and request authorisation.
13. Confidentiality and Data Protection
13.1. Information acquired by Demapal Ltd during the engagement is subject to strict confidentiality requirements and will not be disclosed to other parties except as required by law or with client consent. Privacy Policy can be found in HERE.
13.2. Demapal Ltd will collect and process information relating to the client in accordance with the privacy notice attached to these Terms and Conditions.
14. Limitation of Liability
14.1. The client is responsible for arranging insurance for any losses.
14.2. The parties wholly exclude certain types of loss listed below:
a. Losses not caused by Demapal Ltd’s breach of these terms.
b. Losses caused by companies or organisations found by Demapal Ltd.
c. Loss of profits.
d. Loss of sales or business.
e. Loss of agreements or contracts.
f. Loss of anticipated savings.
g. Loss of use or corruption of software, data, or information.
h. Loss of or damage to goodwill.
i. Indirect or consequential loss.
15. Termination
15.1. The client may terminate the engagement with immediate effect by writing to Demapal Ltd at any time.
15.2. Demapal Ltd reserves the right to terminate the engagement by agreement in writing email between the parties.
16. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
16.1. This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and Wales.
16.2. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with this agreement.
